Hruska and Palm Outdoors was born in late 2011 out of a love for the outdoors and all things waterfowl and waterfowl hunting. The early years were a bit scattered as we bounced around trying different things while looking for our place in the waterfowl world. In the summer of 2014 we started to kick around the idea of creating our own waterfowl focused podcast. At that time there were very few podcasts that focused on waterfowl related topics and podcasts in general were just starting to gain significant traction. Admittedly, we didn't know the first thing about recording or producing a podcast.  We researched everything we could find and spent many hours on YouTube watching "how to" videos. In August 2014 the first episode of the HP Outdoors Waterfowl Podcast was released on iTunes!

Since that time we have experienced incredible growth and success with the show. The podcast has been downloaded all over the world and has afforded us the opportunity to meet many great people who enjoy this sport as much as we do. As we continued to grow and evolve, we look forward to the next chapter in the HP story and having you all along for the ride!
